Plans for upcoming Divooka releases.

Public Roadmap

Where we are going, and what to expect.

(The slide below shows original expectation prior to the establishment of Methodox, i.e. without fulltime commitment; It can serve as a rough reference of the original direction - current focus differs from original plan in significant ways) Where we are now

† Timing correction: the Release 1 should be targeting 2025.

Milestones

(2025) "Version 1" Divooka public full release

  1. Language completeness: subgraph, lambda, procedural context
  2. Divooka Compute package management
  3. File format stablization and backward compatibility
  4. Cross-platform GUI
  5. Preliminary set of standard libraries for Divooka Explore/Divooka Compute
    • (Optional) Including app development frameworks

We should also have comprehensive documentation and software usage guide before full release.

Core (Divooka Engine)

The Divooka core engine will be considered "feature-complete" if:

  1. Divooka (standard libraries) can be implemented on top of Divooka itself
  2. Divooka supports full OOP (notably inheritance and polymorphism) and custom type input outputs
