Examples

In this section we present some example games for study. Those samples are included in the Novella game engine distribution on Itch.io.

All assets permits commercial use. Notice due to licensing issues, certain BGM and SFX files are not included in the samples - a placeholder asset is usually used such cases.

In this sample we present a small fraction of a visual novel that our friend Luna was creating.

The game has three scenes and mostly serve as a basic demonstration how to hook up various nodes using Novella:

• The main character woke up in an ancient time
• The main character is forced to dance for the emperor
• The main character has some conversation with the emperor
