Installation

In this section we cover installation to a local PC. The Divooka GUI editors run on Windows only for now: Windows comes first, macOS is planned next and Linux later, on a cross-platform (Avalonia-based) interface. The command-line tools that come with Divooka Compute, such as Stewer, already run on other platforms too.

Method 1: With GUI Installer

Divooka Explore and Divooka Compute are Early Access software on Steam: see the Divooka Explore and Divooka Compute store pages for their current release status, and a demo of Divooka Explore is on Steam too. Earlier previews can be downloaded from our Itch.io storefront. The Editors guides cover installing and starting each editor.

Method 2: With ZIP Archive

The earlier previews on Itch.io are ZIP archives: extract the whole folder, keep it together and run the executable inside it.
