Direct Python Interoperation

Notice This feature is only available on Divooka Compute or other professional/commercial distributions of Divooka. Notice Using Python directly from a Divooka graph is targeted in a future release.

Divooka is meant to allow direct interoperation with Python, including consuming Python libraries from PyPI. That is not available in a graph yet.

What exists today

SteelPython is Python 3.12 implemented by Methodox Technologies, Inc. on .NET, and it is planned to come with Divooka Compute. It runs Python scripts with the standard library and PyPI packages, and Python and C# can call each other directly in one process, so it is the way to use Python next to Divooka Compute once it ships.

Separately, the Novella visual novel framework runs the python: blocks of a story through IronPython, with its standard library; see Novella. That is Novella's own Python, not a general Python node in Divooka graphs.
